BenFen Bridge ——Cross Chain Bridge

BenFen Bridge is a native cross-chain bridge launched on this sub-chain. It is a secure, decentralized, and scalable cross-chain aggregation solution that supports not only the asset cross-chain needs of mainstream public chains but also effectively provides security alerts and risk isolation for high-risk tokens. As a native cross-chain bridge, BenFen Bridge shares security with the BenFen chain, and its code is built into the BenFen chain without additional trust assumptions.

BenFen Bridge adopts a locking and casting core mechanism:

Lock native assets (such as USDC/USDT) to smart contracts on Ethereum.
Mint or destroy corresponding assets (such as BUSD) on the BenFen chain according to the direction of asset flow.

Key components

BenFen Bridge Committee comprises active validators on the BenFen chain responsible for observing, verifying, and signing cross-chain events. They approve contract upgrades and emergency governance requests for Solidity (Ethereum) and Move (BenFen chain).

Smart contract

Ethereum: Solidity contract that handles asset locking. BenFen chain: Move contract responsible for asset minting and destruction.

Full Node
Running on the Ethereum and BenFen chains, listening for cross-chain events, providing verification information, and supporting nodes and clients.

Cross-Chain Client
User interaction interface: To complete cross-chain operations, submit transaction information and collect node signatures (more than 1/3 of the pledged funds are required).

To ensure safety, BenFen Bridge takes the following measures:

Replay protection

Each transaction uses a random number (nonce) to prevent replay attacks.

Cross-chain finality confirmation

Ethereum to BenFen chain: requires 2 cycles (about 13 minutes) for confirmation, reducing the risk of restructuring.
BenFen Chain to Ethereum: Completed in seconds, fast and efficient.

Committee management

The committee updates with the BenFen chain epoch, and validators rotate keys.
Committee information is stored in the Ethereum contract, and updates require more than 1/3 of the voting rights.

Contract upgrade

BenFen Chain Contract: Requires approval from 2/3 of validators.
Ethereum contract: requires approval from 1/2 of the validators.

Emergency suspension

Operations can be quickly suspended in the face of catastrophic events.
Lifting the suspension requires the consent of more than 1/2 of the pledged funds.

Cross-chain two-way exchange

BenFen provides another way for users to obtain BUSD based on BenFen Bridge so that other users on the chain can do so more conveniently and quickly:

Cross-chain bidirectional exchange mechanism between USDC/USDT and BUSD:
  • When entering, your USDC/USDT will be exchanged for BUSD at a 1:1 ratio.
  • When exiting, users can still exchange their BUSD for USDC or USDT at a 1:1 ratio to their address on the target chain.

BenFen Bridge achieves secure and efficient cross-chain operations through locking and casting mechanisms, decentralized committee management, innovative contract collaboration, and multiple security measures. Its native design is deeply integrated with the BenFen chain, supporting mainstream asset cross-chain and providing risk isolation, laying a solid foundation for the BenFen ecosystem.

Solana Cross-Chain Rule Update

To enhance asset security and prevent malicious attacks, BenPay Bridge has updated its rules for transfers to the Solana network. Please review the following before using the service:

1. Minimum Transfer Amount Updated

  • The minimum amount for a single cross-chain transfer to the Solana network is now 10 USDT/USDC.
  • Transactions below this limit cannot be submitted. Please adjust your transfer amount accordingly.

2. Important Note on Uninitialized Solana Addresses

If your receiving address is an uninitialized Solana address (i.e., it has never been activated on-chain), a one-time account creation fee will be deducted from your transfer amount to activate the address.
Fee Details:
  • The exact fee is based on Solana's actual on-chain cost.
  • A toolbar on the bridge interface will notify you before submission. Please check before confirming.

3. When a Transfer May Fail

Your cross-chain transfer may fail under the following conditions:
  • You are using an uninitialized Solana address, and
  • Your transfer amount is insufficient to cover the creation fee
In this case, the transaction status will show as "Failed to Receive", and the transferred funds will be temporarily held by the system.

4. What to Do If Your Transfer Fails

✅ Recommended: Switch to an activated Solana address
Use a Solana address that has already been activated on-chain — your funds will arrive normally.
✅ Alternative: Activate the address yourself and contact us
You can first send a small amount of SOL to the address to activate it.
Once activated, please reach out to BenPay official support or community admins — we will assist in processing the previously failed transaction.

For further assistance, feel free to contact the BenPay official community or submit a support ticket. We're here to help.
