How do I quickly get started with the BenPay AI API?

How does pricing work? Are free trial credits available?

The BenPay AI API uses a pay-as-you-go pricing model. You are charged based on the number of tokens consumed per request. Pricing varies by model. Please refer to the pricing section for the latest rates.
Free trial credits: The platform opens access periodically in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis until each batch is fully claimed. Each account is eligible to claim once only. After successful redemption, the credits will be automatically added to your account balance and become available for use.

What is the difference between using the BenPay AI API and connecting directly to official model providers?

Directly connecting to the official model providers usually requires managing multiple accounts, API keys, and separate billing systems.

BenPay AI API provides a unified integration and billing layer, allowing users to access multiple leading models with a single API key. You can manage balances, fees, and billing in one place, making AI API usage simpler and more efficient.

Which AI models are currently supported?

We currently support major AI models, including but not limited to: OpenAI (GPT series), Anthropic (Claude series), Google (Gemini series), and DeepSeek models. The available model list is continuously expanding as the platform updates.

Can I create multiple API keys under one account?

Yes. One account can create multiple API keys, each of which can be managed and used for different projects or teams.

What should I do if my API key is compromised?

Your API key is a sensitive credential used to access the AI API. Please keep it secure and avoid exposing it in public repositories, screenshots, or third-party platforms. If you suspect your API key has been compromised, please delete it immediately in the API Keys section of the dashboard to ensure account security.

Can I use the API-generated content for commercial purposes?

In general, content generated via the API can be used for commercial purposes, subject to the terms of the underlying model providers and applicable laws and regulations. Users are responsible for evaluating the legality, accuracy, and compliance of generated content. The platform only provides API access and does not make guarantees regarding downstream usage or outcomes.
