1.What is the withdrawal reserve amount?
The withdrawal reserve amount is the minimum balance that must remain on your card when transferring funds from the “Alpha Card” to the “Card Account.” The current minimum reserve amount is 50 BUSD. If the remaining card balance falls below this amount after the transfer, the transfer cannot be completed.
Note: Delta Cards do not support transfers from the “Card” to the “Card Account.”
The minimum reserve amount is mainly used to:
-
Reduce the risk of transaction failures
-
Prevent insufficient balance issues for pre-authorizations, subscription payments, and similar scenarios
-
Ensure stable card transactions
2.Which scenarios are affected?
1.Card Withdrawal (Card → Card Account)
When transferring funds from the “Alpha Card” balance to the “Alpha Card Account,” at least 50 BUSD must remain on the card after the transfer is completed.
If the remaining Alpha card balance would be lower than 50 USD based on the entered or selected transfer amount, the withdrawal will not be allowed.
2.Card Spending
The reserved 50 BUSD remains part of your available balance and can still be used for spending like any other balance (subject to payment channel and merchant support).
3.Card Closure
When closing the Alpha card, the reserved 50 BUSD (together with any other eligible remaining balance on the card) can be withdrawn according to the card closure process without restriction.
3.Frequently Asked Questions
