Under normal circumstances, BenPay Card payments will be deducted from your card balance first. The Security Deposit will not be used for regular payments.
However, in certain situations, if your card balance is insufficient or transaction risks occur, the system may deduct eligible charges from your Security Deposit.

If your Security Deposit is deducted, BenPay will send you a notification through App Push, email, or other official communication channels.

To reduce the possibility of Security Deposit deductions, we recommend keeping sufficient card balance and promptly canceling unused subscriptions, recurring payments, or third-party service connections.
